We kick off the new month with a 13-race card at The Red Mile, and I’ve got plenty to work with throughout the afternoon.

My strongest opinions come in Races 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, where I’ve graded each race A or A-.

⭐ BEST BETS

Race 1 – #7 JK Lady Liberty
This is my strongest opening-race opinion and the only Grade A play on the card. I’m looking for her to get the afternoon started on the right foot.

Race 6 – #1 Command Center
Another horse I’m leaning on heavily. Command Center tops my selections in one of my stronger A- races.

Race 10 – #6 Seaside Ubeaut
One of my better late-card win opinions and a horse I’ll be watching closely as we get into the final third of the program.

💰 VALUE PLAYS

These are horses a little deeper in my selections that could become interesting if the tote board gives us the right price.

Race 3 – #4 Free Scottie
Third on my ticket behind Lifetime Dreamer and Dream Shaq, but one I wouldn’t ignore if the price is there.

Race 8 – #7 Yankee Boss
Whateverittakes As is my top choice, but Yankee Boss gives me another horse to consider underneath or as a value option.

Race 12 – #5 Top Reacher
JImdougie Armitage is my primary play, but Top Reacher could offer some value deeper in the race.

💣 LONGSHOT WATCH

Without morning-line odds on the sheet, I’m not labeling these true longshots yet, but these are horses farther down my rankings that I’ll keep an eye on if the board offers a big number.

Race 9 – #9 Conboy
Third choice in a competitive B+ race and the type I’d consider underneath at a price.

Race 13 – #10 Decemberist
My fourth selection in the finale. If the price is generous, this is one I’d consider using to spice up the exotics.

It’s a deep card with several races I feel good about, but as always, price matters. I’ll be watching the board and looking for opportunities where my opinion and the value line up.
