CONTEST RULES

No Entry Fee • Weekly Contests • Real Competition • Optional Cash Contests

General Rules

• All contests are played using a virtual bankroll in an Across-the-Board (WPS) format.
• The player with the highest Return on Investment (ROI) wins.
• Entries must be submitted no later than 15 minutes before the first post.
• Only one entry per player is permitted. Multiple submissions will result in all entries being removed.
• All contests are free to play unless otherwise noted as an optional cash contest.
• Questionable entries, including duplicate accounts, matching IP addresses, incorrect formats, or obvious pattern plays, may be removed at management’s discretion.

Maximum payout per selection:

Monthly Awards

• The player with the highest monthly ROI earns a share in a racehorse or $100 cash.* 
  • *Must enter into at least one Buy-In inside the month to qualify for the prize.
• The player with the most wins receives recognition and a place on the Champions Page.

Optional Cash Contests

• Cash contests are optional and separate from free play contests.
• Prize distribution:
  • 1st Place: 70%
  • 2nd Place: 20%
  • 3rd Place: 10%
• Ties result in the applicable prize positions being combined and split equally among tied players.

Handicapper of the Week

• Only scores achieved while finishing in the Top 5 are eligible for Handicapper of the Week standings.

Dead Heat Rules

Win Dead Heat

• Paid using the average WPS payout of dead-heating horses (e.g., 5|10).
• Does not apply to The Rail.

Place Dead Heat

• The first horse receives the Place and Show payout.
• The second horse receives the combined Place/Show payout credited to the Show position.

Show Dead Heat

• Paid using the average Show payout of the dead-heating horses.
